The result of the discussion was Speedy keep (non-admin closure). Procedural close. Article is not even a redirect. Marcus Qwertyus (talk) 03:02, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Put Cowboys back in title, despite new deal. At least use CS in infobox call ATTS official title. Zoozle102 (talk) 00:48, 17 September 2013 (UTC) I recently found out about the team owner trying to rename the Dallas Cowboy stadium. He did succeed but it appear many fans were not too happy about it. I moved it back, but I really don't want to cause an edit war over this. I would, however, like some input as to how we should keep it on this site and whether or not it's good for the Cowboy fanbase. Zoozle102 (talk) 23:55, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strong keep (actually "strong undo"), due to user vandalism (though possibly inadvertent) and misunderstanding of appropriate policies. No matter what certain pundits (or Wikipedians) may or may not think about "whether or not it's good for the Cowboy fanbase", whenever a naming-rights deal replaces the old name the deal usually prevails, not so much because of WP:OFFICIALNAMES as because it usually tends to replace the old name as WP:COMMONNAME, even if there's other stadiums with similar names (see the extensive hatnote on the article, which I just added to). Without substantial evidence that broad English usage (NOT just a few pundits and/or complaining fans) insists on keeping the name "Cowboys Stadium" (unlikely thanks to its nicknames "Jerrydome", "Jerry's World" and the like), it should be "AT&T Stadium". Furthermore, THIS user (a) moved the AT&T Stadium article BACK to Cowboys Stadium WITHOUT waiting for a response to this request, then (b) made edits to the redirect at AT&T Stadium that will require Wikipedia administrators to perform a CSD:G6 deletion on the redirect, then move it back to AT&T Stadium manually using WP:RM. --RBBrittain (talk) 02:34, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:Articles for creation/Redirects#Bassa Cove. Article doesn't mention Bassa Cove at all. buffbills7701 20:20, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to {{Reply to}}, which is more relevant. TB is a better shortcut for Talkback, but we need "Reply" as shortcut of "Reply to". TitoDutta 17:42, 16 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was disambiguate. WJBscribe (talk) 01:37, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Should both be deleted. There are at least two real world people by the name "Yutaka Kobayashi" who are more notable than this minor character from Megatokyo. —Ryulong (琉竜) 13:13, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Evidently these are also among the redirects created by banned user Tyciol that led to his initial indefinite block.—Ryulong (琉竜) 18:35, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In which case this is the wrong venue for them. The correct venue is speedy deletion under criterion G5. What I will say is this; Kobayashi Yutaka is an implausible typo, Yutaka Kobayashi - if there are at least two entries who are notable enough for an encyclopedia besides this one - should probably be made a disambiguation page out of.--Launchballer 19:13, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
They were created before the ban.—Ryulong (琉竜) 19:41, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, what that really means is that that shouldn't be a wikilink. All the more reason for someone to go and rewrite these redirects with an article. Someone looking for the politician will be disappointed either way as things stand; at least by keeping the redirects, we serve those looking for the characters. --BDD (talk) 00:26, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so a clearer consensus may be reached.
