The result of the discussion was: keep. – Fayenatic London 12:12, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Categorization by non-defining characteristic. Rather than a category, I think a list of people who emigrated to escape Nazism would be more appropriate. TM 23:54, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. It's a defining characteristic, generally. It's a little less defining than "People from Italy" or "Singers" -- but not all that much less. For a lot of these people, all this was a pretty big deal, is prominently mentioned in their biography and/or was an important determinant in their path through life. And IMO a reasonable number of readers are likely to find it useful category for finding people. And there are hundreds of articles in the category. If you want a list too, fine, make a supplementary list also. Herostratus (talk) 03:14, 22 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as defining as any of the emigrants/immigrants type categories. Not all emigrants from Germany to the UK or US or wherever has similar motives (especially those who left before 1933 or after 1945, compared to those who left between 1933 and 1945). Carlossuarez46 (talk) 21:56, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Clearly extremely defining. A tide of people fled Nazism during the 1930s and it was a major part of their lives and often something that has been significant in their later careers. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:16, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The migration was itself a substantial movement of people, it can be easily identified and bounded given the extremely limited lifespan of Nazi governance, and any example is likely to be supported by references. ComicsAreJustAllRight (talk) 08:37, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Agree with Necrothesp.--Meister und Margarita (talk) 22:22, 10 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Per Necrothesp. Manxruler (talk) 17:52, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: There is no parent article for Betop, making the existence of this category rather incongruous to begin with. WP: SMALLCAT also applies; this company only made a handful of games and has been defunct for many years now. Martin IIIa (talk) 15:57, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: WP: SMALLCAT. This company has published quite a few games, but few if any of them have enough independent notability to justify a standalone article. Martin IIIa (talk) 15:49, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: rename, not controversial. – Fayenatic London 12:14, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: rename and populate, by limiting this to former it is a category with a very narrow scope. By dropping "former" we can downmove a number of articles from parent Category:Visigothic art. Marcocapelle (talk) 07:19, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
