@Noahe123:} this book definitely meets NBOOK criteria 3 "The book has been considered by reliable sources to have made a significant contribution to a notable or significant motion picture, or other art form, or event or political or religious movement." given Under the Mountain (film). Comment, hi Noahe123, i see you've recently nominated quite a few articles for deletion with similar words ie. "No independent reliable sources cover this topic. Fails WP:NBOOK", it would be nice if, in the nomination, you also stated why alternatives to deletion, like merge/redirect, are not appropriate, and also what sort of WP:BEFORE you carried out before nominating, thanks. Keep, meets WP:NBOOK, in addition to being adapted into a minseries, film, and stage show, it also won the 2004 Gaelyn Gordon Award, discussed in the books Maurice Gee: A Literary Companion: The Fiction For Young Readers (Representation and Responsibility in Under the Mountain and The Fat Man by Vivien van Rij), Rachel Barrowman's Maurice Gee: Life and Work, and Julia Eccleshare's 1001 Children's Books You Must Read Before You Grow Up (listed here), also,Tessa Duder wrote about it for The Spinoff - "As someone whose debut novel appeared three years later, I believe Under the Mountain triggered a glorious new era in New Zealand’s children’s publishing.
