Magi in fantasy fiction and games

Deproded with no rationale besides, ostensibly, WP:ILIKEIT. There is no encyclopedic reason for this article to exist - it duplicates two existing articles Magician (fantasy) and Wizard (character class). It is entirely a work of original research and turns the two terms into a mish-mash. There's no reason to think "magi in fantasy fiction and games" should be combined, and the article itself calls them "mages" rather than "magi". _{ZXCVBNM (TALK)} 07:43, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

- "Magus" or "Magi" refers to followers of Zoroastranism in particular though. I've never seen it used in a video game, they are pretty much always called "mage" or "mages" when a generic name is used._{ZXCVBNM (TALK)} 12:17, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Delete there already exists List of magicians in fantasy if the editor wanted to create a list of characters that use magic, and the aforementioned articles if they want details on how magicians are used in fiction. The Magi article itself covers use in literature. Some of the examples in the article are titles where they just use the term Magi, which is covered in Magi (disambiguation), and refer to Magicians in general or plural of magus / mage, not the Zoroastranism Magi.
