This is a lesser used synonym of Cladoselachidae (see [1] [2]) and most recent studies prefer the family name (e.g [3]). The mindat ref (which is a mirror of the Paleobiology Database) is unreliable (it doesn't even contain Cladoselache the defining genus of the Cladoselachida(e) ) as it cannot accomodate conflicting taxonomic schemes and often contains outdated information.
