Information icon Hello, I'm TompaDompa. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Black holes in fiction, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TompaDompa (talk) 12:47, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

LAZ-699

[edit]

Hi TomWG00, I noticed your SPG edit at LAZ-699. Whilst you've corrected many errors I missed myself, I disagree with your changing of 'tiltable' to 'tilt able'. I don't want to immediately change it back at the risk of starting an edit-war, and I certainly don't think your edit needs reverting as most of the changes are completely uncontroversial. I note that wiktionary and other dictionaries spell the term as 'titlable'. Are you happy for me to just make the change? PenguinPhone (talk) 14:29, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, yes I actually noticed that too myself later on. You are completely correct. Apologies. Yes please do make the change. TomWG00 (talk) 14:31, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No need to apologise! I think you're (as well as myself) new to wikipedia, so the BOLD mentality hasn't yet set in. If you realise you've made a mistake, there's nothing stopping you from correcting it yourself or making further changes; it's not like someone has to 'approve' the change before you're allowed to make another one. I just wanted to bring it up on your talk page because I know some editors can be a little touchy over what might be minor spelling fixes.
Thanks for the pleasant discussion! PenguinPhone (talk) 14:37, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No problem at all. Thank you very much for the advice! TomWG00 (talk) 15:20, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
