"Puffery"
[edit]Please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch#Puffery (also known as WP:PEACOCK) which explains why we don't add words like "prestigious" as you did in this edit to Wainwright Prize. I've reverted your edit. If you have a source where someone describes it as "prestigious" in a reliable independent published source, you could add that reference with wording such as "Iris Murdoch wrote in The Guardian that "The prestigious Wainwright Prize is an accolade to aim for", so that the subjective description "prestigious" is not said in Wikipedia's voice but in an independent source.
There's a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it's an interesting journey. Happy editing! PamD 19:59, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
Wainwright Prize
[edit]Originally I was going to point out that when adding mentions of the Wainwright Prize, as you did in this and this edit you should link the name of the prize and include a reference to support the information.
But on looking further, I find that Eating to Extinction was not just shortlisted: it won the Wainwright Prize for Writing on Nature Conservation, 2022. While it's correct to say that it was shortlisted, it's not particularly helpful. Please be sure to include a reliable source for every fact you add to any Wikipedia article. Thanks. As I said above, there's a lot to learn about editing the encyclopedia. Happy editing! PamD 20:08, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
I've now improved the info about the Wainwright Prize in both Tori Tsui and Eating to Extinction. Thanks for your work on including mentions of the prize, but please remember always to provide a reference. Thanks. PamD 20:37, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
Tori Tsui
[edit]Stop adding something that's not in the reference. seek new reference for new things Agus Damanik (talk) 01:18, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
CoI?
[edit]Do you have a "Conflict of Interest"? I notice that all your edits have been about Tori Tsui. Please note that if you are a friend, family member, employee, agent etc you should not be writing about her, and if you are being paid to edit you must declare this. See WP:COI and WP:PAID.
