Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... Wikipedia Commons is rejecting my logo for the 99 Cent Film Festival, but the created logo is our own artwork. Please help.

Hi. You've asked this question on the English Wikipedia, not Commons, which are two separate projects. Still, I can tell you that Commons will only accept the image if your film festival agrees to license the image freely, meaning anyone can use it for any reason, even their own commercial purposes. If that's the case, see c:COM:ET for instructions on how to prove such a release. If your organization does not want the image released under a free license that allows anyone to reuse it and make money off it, it could be used on Wikipedia only once an article (not a draft) exists about the film festival, under a claim of fair use. See Wikipedia's guidelines on non-free content. Although given that the article you've written is likely to be deleted, I'd hold off on the image and work on writing an acceptable article first. See our guide to writing your first article and, if the article is indeed deleted, I'd recommend your next attempt be through the article wizard as a draft.
