Closing CfD cases
Hello, Asmodea Oaktree,
I see that you closed Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2020 December 30#Category:Sanskrit language and history discussion but forgot about taking action on Category:Sanskrit language and history. It needs to be untagged and marked for deletion citing the discussion that was closed. It doesn't get automatically deleted when you close the discussion. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 14:14, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
- Done
Category:People from Perasma and Category:People from Meliti (municipal unit) speedy deletion tagging
Excuse me, I don't know much about the process and how non-admin closures work (the other similar merges were performed by admins with the help of a bot), but weren't those two pages "tied" (2 "votes" to keep and 2 to merge each)? --Antondimak (talk) 19:09, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Antondimak:When closing a discussion you can weigh the strength of the arguments. The general consensus is to get rid of all third and fourth level subdivisions. Non of the people in the Category:People from Perasma were born in the village Perasma but were instead from another village that belongs to the Perasma municipal unit. In adition to that the nomination counts as a vote as well. Thats why I saw the consensus being on the side of deletion. --Asmodea Oaktree (talk) 09:55, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

Request for prototype testing
Hello there!
My name is AVardhana (WMF) (talk) 00:11, 1 April 2021 (UTC), and I recently joined The Wikimedia Foundation and am writing to invite you to participate in a user testing study that I'm currently conducting for The Wikipedia Library team. I noticed you've been an editor on Wikipedia so I thought I would reach out to see if you're interested in testing a prototype of the library's new Homepage?
This would involve my emailing you the prototype with a list of instructions and questions. The purpose of the study is to get a better understanding of what people think of the new Homepage design! If you're interested, please let me know here or feel free to email me at avardhana@wikimedia.org, and I'll be in touch via email! If you have any questions, I am happy to answer them.
Thank you, Aishwarya

German-Speaker Input Needed
Hi! I chose you randomly from the Users DE category because there's a very silly little edit war happening at Nina Hagen. It's over the correct translation of Fritzens Dampferband. Is it "Fritzen's Steamboat Band" or "Fritz's Steamboat Band"? What makes this argument particularly silly is that none of us in this argument actually speaks German. (But, of course, that doesn't prevent us from having Strong Opinions!) If you could take a moment to share you knowledge at Talk:Nina_Hagen#Fritzens_Dampferband that would be most helpful. —Isaac Rabinovitch (talk) 21:10, 8 December 2021 (UTC)

List of ships named Rochester moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, List of ships named Rochester, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. You've been unsubscribed from the Feedback Request Service
Hi Asmodea Oaktree! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over six months.
In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in six months.
You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:
- Go to the Feedback Request Service page.
- Decide which categories are of interest to you, under the RfC and/or GA headings.
- Paste
{{Frs user|Asmodea Oaktree|limit}}
underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month. - Publish the page.
If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.
Note that if you had a rename and left your old name subscribed to the FRS, you may be receiving this message on your new username's talk page still. If so, make sure your new account name is subscribed to the FRS, using the same procedure mentioned above.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the Feedback Request Service talk page, or on the Feedback Request Service bot's operator's talk page. Thank you! Message delivered to you with love by Yapperbot :) | Is this wrong? Contact my bot operator. | Sent at 18:01, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
