Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Apocalypse Now, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Peaceray (talk) 03:57, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm really sorry for that. I just thought that this Vietnam War movie is based on a True Story for some reason. But I believe I was wrong. Also, why can't two WW2 movies such as "Where Eagles Dare" and "Force 10 of Navarone" be based on True Stories? I mean, "Force 10 of Navarone" is a sequel of "The Guns of Navarone" which is really based on a True Story. Anthony.Sanders003 (talk) 17:51, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Legends of the Fall, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 03:14, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I understand. Thanks for letting me know. Anthony.Sanders003 (talk) 00:27, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Films based on real events

[edit]

Do you think that every movie set in World War II is based on real events? Please go through your changes and revert the category addition where the article doesn't even mention it being based on real events. See also Wikipedia:Defining. intforce (talk) 18:19, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well of course I know that some World War II movies are based on real events. But however, I only did it just in case if you took away that category, I would understand that it is not a True Story. Anthony.Sanders003 (talk) 22:44, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Create more Wikipedia Pages of WW2

[edit]

Hey Wikipedia, can you please create more pages of WW2 movies that are also based on True Stories? You know, like: Beyond Valkyrie: Dawn of the Fourth Rich, The Resistance Fighter, Recon (2019), Enemy Lines, and Wolf Hound (2022). The whole world still needs to know more about those True hidden stories of WW2. Anthony.Sanders003 (talk) 18:16, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to War Horse (film), please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Please check to see whether the topic is fictional. Binksternet (talk) 20:32, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I believe you are half right. The WWI movie of The Blue Max is really not based on a True Story, but War Horse is! Then why did you take away that category from it's category list?!>:( At least I put it back today. You should see it in the website called Movies Drop in the page of "Best World War 1 Movies Based On True Stories and Events", and you will see that it is right there on the list. Look at it right here: https://moviesdrop.com/best-world-war-1-movies-based-on-true-stories/4282/

Why adding Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in the List?!>:(

[edit]

Who on Earth is responsible for putting that very bad violent aggressive cruel hellish live-action alternative movie "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" in the list of "2019 Films Based on Actual Events" under the Wikipedia Category page of "List of 2010s films based on actual events?!" Can't you guys notice that it's an Alternative movie, not a True Story movie?!>:( Look it up at Google and see it yourself. Anthony.Sanders003 (talk) 17:44, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
