My I.D.

My I.D. is a beauty company looking to start a movement. They are partnered with Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) to help combat sex trafficking around the globe. They donate their profits to this organization in hopes other businesses will follow in their lead and support organizations bettering the world.

Founder's Story

"During 30 years of working in early childhood education, I had the privilege to serve many children from different class families. I did not encounter children who were abducted or sold and found, those victims connected with human trafficking group until after I retired at the age of 60. I finally had time to think about how those parents must have lived with never ending nightmares. They do not know where their children are. Those victims and their parents are worried and powerless. Thinking about this I could not hold on and wanted to do something for them so I joined a few volunteer teams. While involving myself more, my powerless feeling crippled me with a torn heart.

I have dreamt of a group of children and young women of different skin colors surrounded in darkness. They have no smiles on their faces. They have hollow eyes, but they want to say something. The soul hidden under the face makes me feel their pain and helplessness but there is no escape, and there are mean, ferocious male and female faces all around them, watching them. These two groups of people intersected and appeared in my dreams a few times, I didn’t understand and could only pray and ask God “What do You want to tell me?” when I knew who they were and what God wanted me to do for them my first response was to refuse and escape the burden of dealing with the victims and the atrocities committed against them. But who can run away from God’s face? One day I kept hearing, “My ID, My ID” from deep in my Spirit. I was wondering if it was related to my driver’s license, or my passport? When I asked myself a question about what is wrong with my ID, I did not expect to get an answer from our Creator and Heavenly Father so clear and so fast.

He answered me...

Those lost kids do not know who they are- even their own name. They do not have an identity. My Children-Christians, those who have been saved and have everything to enjoy their life, most of them do not know who they really are. I want to give them the real ID, they are children of God, I create them with my own image..

After hearing those words, the speed with which I progressed in my assignment was greatly increased. I acquired “MY ID” as our logo and trade name for face masks which I created with those words in mind, because everyone loses or hides their identity under a mask.

How do you know if one day your family or your friend’s family will not face the same tragedy? Jesus tells his disciples, one of their assignments is to set free those who are captured. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, o preach the acceptable year of the Lord.　Luke 4:18 - 19

Before you join the rescue team you probably will go through the same process that I did, but don’t go away, I would still like to invite you to join us in this cause.

We cannot do this alone; we are stronger together. We not only want to restore their physical and emotional freedom but also rediscover their identity. I wish you would be part of this story."

Mission

"My I.D. partners with Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), an international anti-human trafficking organization, to pursue freedom for women and children held in modern-day slavery. My I.D.’s mission is to support these victims to rebuild their lives as they rejoin society and discover their true selves. We encourage other organizations and businesses to take a stand against human trafficking. The majority of net profits are donated to O.U.R. and My I.D. has established a partnership to directly fund operational needs and support for sex trafficking survivors. O.U.R. has gathered the world’s experts in extraction operations to rescue women and children from traffickers and help these individuals readjust to society by providing secure relocation, adoption, education, therapy, job training, and safe houses.

Our goal is to make an impact and create a justice movement for the current generation, changing the path of those to come. It is our obligation to take a stand against these crimes. We have put our children and the next generation into a dangerous and cruel world and it is our responsibility to reconstruct it."
