Just Dance Wii U is a music video game released in Japan on April 3, 2014, for the Nintendo Wii U. Although developed by Ubisoft, [clarification needed] the game was edited and published in Japan by Nintendo. It was announced February 13, 2014, in a Nintendo Direct presentation on YouTube.[1] The game is the third title in the Japanese editions of the Just Dance video games.
Gameplay
[edit]Like all other titles in the series, up to four players hold Wii remotes and attempt to mimic an on-screen dancer in prepared routines to selected songs. Routines vary in difficulty and are given ratings of Easy, Normal, or Hard; additionally, routines may be solos, duets, or quartets. Pictograms are displayed as cues to help players prepare for upcoming moves, and points are given for dancing correctly.
Unlike the Western editions of the game, Just Dance Wii U does not contain a World Dance Floor mode (supporting online gameplay), On-Stage (three-player) choreographies, or any other alternate routines for any songs. Additionally, downloads are not supported.
Tracklist
[edit]The game contains 35 songs. Western songs originate from the previously-released Just Dance 4 and Just Dance 2014 games; Japanese songs are new and unique to the game.[2]
