I've updated the article to include more references, external recognition and a more consistent tone. Additional updates that can be added later are included in comments in the entry. What other updates should be added to ensure the article meets Wikipedia inclusion guidelines? Rthrash (talk) 12:57, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why does linking to Youtube searches for "MODx" trigger a bot revert of the edit? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rthrash (talkcontribs) 00:43, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this entry held to a different standard than other Content Management Systems? Removal of marketing and vanity elements makes sense for article neutrality, wholesale removal of content seems as if driven by personal agenda and not the TOS for Wikipedia. If you look at Content Management System Joomla! or Drupal the standards seem to differ for what may be included. Jaygilmore (talk) 13:55, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[[User:16x9] please explain what makes the references here here "bad stuff"? If the formatting or reference conventions is inappropriate would a more appropriate course of action be to correct the formatting rather than a wholesale deletion of the content which provides notable information from reliable sources? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rthrash (talkcontribs) 14:41, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It was either WP:OR or vanity. 16x9 (talk) 19:37, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I do definitely feel like this article lacks a basic section about how ModX works. Like in a drupal article, I would talk about views and content types. In a ModX article, I might talk about snippets and chunks, but I don't know enough about ModX yet to do that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.240.74.46 (talk) 15:25, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
