Skridinski Buk or buk

[edit]

Should the B in Skridinski buk be capitalized? Angerxiety 19:04, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1. The "dynamic" image with caption "Krka National Park waterfall" does not really help to identify which waterfall it is. Whoever posted it did not bother to the essential which is to actually say what it's showing but focused on the fancy motion that does not say anything useful (the name of the waterfall). After being there earlier this year, from the angle, I know it's not Roški slap but most likely Skradinski buk (image possibly taken on the left after the bridge). If somebody can confirm this, please fix the caption for the image accordingly to be more descriptive.

2. The image with caption "Hiking trail on Roški slap" is not as useful as an actual image of Roški slap which I would rather use.

3. Slap in Croatian means waterfall. Roški Slap/slap is inconsistently spelled (text and caption). I assume it should be written as slap like buk for consistency and because the name does not likely need to be capitalized like, for example, Plitvice. Angerxiety (above) also wonders which spelling should apply in a similar way to mine.
