Hi, I took the liberty to write a brief biography of Petropoulos, as the relevant sections were empty. There is a lot missing, and also his unique views and his work should be covered in more detail. Most of the material I took it from the documentary mentioned in the article, or from the page of the Greek wikipedia concerning Petropoulos. Also I have some old copies of his books.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any corrections/suggestions, and take some time to build the page about this singular intellectual. I think he is largely underrated and untranslated, while the depth of his vision and the boldness of his discourse are refreshing to anyone who comes in contact with his work.
If you are a Greek speaker, there is quite a bit of material in the greek wikipedia you can translate, although bits of it are not very encyclopedic. Good luck!--Schizophonix (talk) 09:08, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I was under the impression that both the "views" and the "awards" section were intentionally left empty
in homage to Petropoulos' particular stance. I suggest they are left as is, they seem very apt to me.178.128.122.245 (talk) 19:56, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Petropoulos own words at an interview[2]: "Κοιτάξτε, είμαι αθεϊστής, είμαι πορνογράφος, είμαι λιμπερτέν, είμαι αναρχικός κι αντιλαμβάνεστε ότι όλα όσα συμβαίνουν στην Ελλάδα τα βλέπω μ’ ένα ειρωνικό μάτι... ", translation: "Look, I am atheist, i am pornograph, i am liberten, I am anarchist and as you can realize, I deal with a little bit of irony whatever happens in Greece"Cinadon36 (talk) 06:59, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The article seriously lacks citations to reliable references, particularly (but not limited to) in the lead where an evaluation of E.P.'s work prominently exists. --Dipa1965 (talk) 13:59, 3 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
