Looking for Challan is an Indian investigative film produced by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) and directed by Bappa Ray.[1] The film won the National Film Award for the Best Investigative Film category.[2][3][4]

Plot

The film delves into the cultural and heritage aspects of Kerala's Nilambur forest, aiming to showcase the cultural diversity found in Kerala's forest regions. It also highlights lesser-known stories of the Cholanaikkan community.[5]
