Germán Antonio Gabriel Benaches (born November 16, 1980) is a Spanish retired professional basketball player. He played as a power forward and as a center.
Professional career
[edit]Gabriel signed with the Liga ACB club Estudiantes in 2009.[1] After spending four years in the club of Madrid, he signed for Bilbao Basket.
He came back to Unicaja, his first club, in 2015 once he left Bilbao.[2] On December 2, he left Unicaja.[3]
On 4 November 2016, Gabriel announced his retirement from professional basketball.
National team career
[edit]After playing with the junior national teams of Spain, Gabriel joined the senior Spain men's national basketball team. He was selected to play with Spain at the EuroBasket 2013.
