- Comment: Wouldn't you seek help before rushing to submit? Your draft doesn't meet our criteria and I appreciate your work so far. It has many unreliable sources including Mubi, Infobae, El Bazar del Espectáculo, Indie Hoy, Inreview Online, e.t.c. Read WP:42. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 06:27, 30 October 2024 (UTC)

Premise
[edit]An American backpacker travels to Buenos Aires to pay homage to Hippolyte Bouchard, the Argentine pirate who conquered his hometown in 1818. Along the way, he becomes entangled in a polyamorous relationship with a gang of young actors who plot to kidnap the U.S. Ambassador.[3]
Music
[edit]Thai-American artist Montonn Jira composed most of the soundtrack for the film from his studio in Bangkok. Other contributing musicians include Sandro, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Litto Nebbia, Kevin Johansen and Carla Pugliese.[4]
Critical Reception
[edit]Underground Orange launched theatrically in Argentina on October 10th, 2024. The film premiered both at Atlas Caballito and in the Cine Gaumont in Buenos Aires to favorable reviews from critics. [5] Alex Lei, who writes for Filmmaker Magazine, called the film not a coming of age but "a coming-of-identity." [6] Furthermore, Marta Zeamanuel of New/Next says, “In this assured debut feature, spirited discourse and deeply-felt emotion weave through every activity the characters partake in whether it’s play rehearsals, a heist, a musical number, or a kidnapping plot." [7] In Argentina, Julieta Aiello of Indie Hoy writes, “Underground Orange navigates between historical revisionism and denunciation, an ode to what’s youthful and punk, while remaining a declaration of love from a foreigner towards our country.” [8]
