Submission declined on 4 November 2024 by Jannatulbaqi (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of web content). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Cascadeur is a 3D animation software developed by Nekki, a Cyprus-based company. The software is designed for creating keyframe animations, and used primarily in developing indie games and producing dynamic animations without motion capture.[1]
Development and release
[edit]Cascadeur was initially conceived by Nekki, which is also known for developing Shadow Fight and Vector games, to address the need for a tool that could simulate physics accurately and create realistic animations for games.[2][3][4] The software was first introduced in an open beta in 2019,[5] and after years of development and community feedback, the early access version was launched in 2021,[6] followed by an official full release in 2022.[7][8] Nekki has continued to add features with version updates.[9]
In January 2024, Nekki announced that it was also working on a mobile version of the software. Cascadeur Mobile entered open beta for iPhone and iPad in June 2024.[10][11]
Features
[edit]Cascadeur includes a tool for character posing called AutoPosing,[12] a set of tools called AutoPhysics for creating physics-based motion sequences,[13] and an Animation Unbaking feature which converts a baked animation into editable keyframes and interpolations.[14] Other features include secondary animations, rigging, video-based mocap, and animation retargeting.[15]
The software has a free version and three paid subscription versions.[16]
