Lisaventura

Report date February 20 2009, 07:47 (UTC)
[edit]
Suspected sockpuppets

Evidence submitted by Themfromspace (talk)

Lisaventura has been on a campaign to insert spam links into the Adjustable gastric band article, although time and time again it has been reverted by other editors. A few, but not all, of the diffs follow: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]. Lisaventura was blocked the 22nd of January, but that hasn't prevented several IPs from returning to insert the links. 208.104.107.32 added spam here, here, and here. 66.162.204.227 also added spam here, and here. I think the conclusion that this is the same person is very reasonable. Themfromspace (talk) 07:47, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Blocked both listed IP addresses for 1 month anon only, disabling account creation. By the edit dates, it looks like the IPs are static and are probably a home and a work IP. Those IPs have only edited the article in question as well. Pattern is conclusive. Thanks to the reporter for making my life easy and providing a few diffs! —— nixeagleemail me 14:35, 20 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
