- It's unclear why the Shinano Grandserows article should be deleted, when all of the other teams in the Route Inn BCL (Baseball Challenge League) have existing articles. The team is a member in good standing of the league going on eight years now, and has employed a number of players with accompanying Wikipedia articles. The league itself is a legitimate independent baseball league that has been running since 2007 and this year expanded to eight teams. A good number of players from BCL have moved on to play for Nippon Professional Baseball. I've also added some more citations to the Grandserows article to demonstrate its notability -- stoshmaster (talk) 17:14, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- Comment Stoshmaster, as said previously, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is not relevant in an AfD, but some of those articles seem to meet WP:GNG and some do not. Boleyn (talk) 19:25, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

- Keep Fully professional baseball team. Alex (talk) 18:20, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- Comment Alexsautographs, are you sure? The Route Inn BCL article describes it as an 'independent semi-professional baseball league.' Boleyn (talk) 19:14, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- People who don't know anything about baseball seem to think minor league teams are "semi-professional". But they're not. The Baseball Reference Bullpen calls it professional, and I'd trust that source more than the Wikipedia article. From the Grandserows website: "BC LEAGUE is one of the biggest independent professional baseball leagues in the north central region of Japan".[1] Alex (talk) 21:37, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: I have left a longer comment at the AFD for another team from the same league. As a question @Alexsautographs: do you think player payments of about US$10,000 per year (up to a maximum of $15,000) make it a professional league? AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 07:51, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

- Delete. Does not appear to be a fully professional team, and thus fails the WP:CLUB criteria. The same can probably be said of all the other teams in that league. --DAJF (talk) 01:51, 12 April 2015 (UTC)

- Delete All of the coverage appears to be routine sports reporting (standings, trades, etc.). I don't see anything that shows the team meets WP:GNG. As for the "professional" discussion, I think it depends on whether you define professional as getting paid at all or as making a living. 204.126.132.231 (talk) 15:31, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
