- Heidelberg Middle School (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
Orphaned article, nothing notable about the school, very little info given in the article; WP:IINFO. The super red one (talk) 04:13, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- — The super red one (talk • contribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic. First edit was putting this article up for deletion. Ikip (talk) 07:04, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The page has the wrong tag. Ikip (talk) 06:54, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- strong keep First of all WP:IINFO is probably the most misused guideline in AfD disccusions, WP:IINFO includes: Plot summaries. Lyrics databases. Statistics. News reports. In which this is none of the four. An orphaned article can be fixed, so can very little info in the article. WP:BEFORE and WP:PRESERVE was not followed here. There are several references in the article, so it meets notablity guidelines. 22 google articles many of them centrally about the school. Ikip (talk) 06:58, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- this discussion has been included on: Talk:List of schools in Germany, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Germany. And I emailed the principal :) Ikip (talk) 07:31, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- keep: Can't see any reason why this article should be deleted. Just because the article is orphaned or in its early stage doesn't mean it needs deleting. If that was the case, we would never get any articles, they all have to start somewhere! EA210269 (talk) 07:58, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep The school won a significant national award the nominator didn't discuss and I would also disagree with the claim nothing is notable about the school itself. It's the first and only time, I heard of a school that directly caters to children of a particular part of government. Being orphaned is not a valid reason for deletion (it can be fixed. Little information can be countered with a expansion (but stubs are acceptable too) and WP:IINFO doesn't apply at all. - Mgm|(talk) 11:44, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep per Ikip. I find it very surprising that this should be a new editor's first contribution.—S Marshall Talk/Cont 13:38, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep No valid reason for deletion given and sources are available to establish notability. --Jmundo 14:25, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep - unusual school with a significant award. TerriersFan (talk) 14:48, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep and perhaps a speedy close. Drmies (talk) 17:53, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Snowball Keep At this point, it appears that any additional positive input is strictly a pile-on. Pastor Theo (talk) 21:55, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Snowball keep. Its a pity that its an orphan, but that a reason to set up links in other article... or write additional articles.... certainly not a reason for deletion. [1], [2], [3]. And in IS strange that the ONLY thing a SPA does is nominate an article for deletion. What newcomers know how to do that? Fishy. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 18:51, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep most middle schools are not notable, but this article establishes notability with reliable and verifiable sources. Alansohn (talk) 19:39, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Article is under construction. Sub-Contractors (above supportive editors) have been notified. Demolition should cease ASAP.--Buster7 (talk) 10:49, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
