Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Michael Fassbender. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Thedarkknightli (talk) 10:46, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Schrödinger's jellyfish. I noticed that you recently removed content from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Ryan Gosling

[edit]

Can you edit the main wiki page, at the top it says he has received a grammy nomination, which is not true. He sang a song that was nominated, but it was a songwriting award, and he did not have a songwriting credit on it, therefore - no nomination for him. 24.71.102.130 (talk) 03:14, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. I'll see. HumanBeing240 (talk) 10:46, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Someone reverted the info - once again, he is not grammy nominated. 24.71.102.130 (talk) 07:37, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Michael Fassbender. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Thedarkknightli (talk) 19:30, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi HumanBeing240! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. glman (talk) 12:58, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not using edit summary

[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! KyleJoantalk 07:33, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

IMDB and UGC

[edit]

Hi! please read WP:CITINGIMDB and WP:UGC Sid95Q (talk) 09:29, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Here, a reliable source confirms that he won the award. Sid95Q (talk) 11:57, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Another source [1] Sid95Q (talk) 12:15, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. But it doesn't show on his IMDB page. HumanBeing240 (talk) 14:27, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As mentioned before IMDB is not considered reliable per WP:CITINGIMDB and WP:UGC. Sid95Q (talk) 16:04, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. It doesn't say anything about awards though. HumanBeing240 (talk) 02:35, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It clearly mentions appropriate use of website, rest all is considered unreliable. Sid95Q (talk) 14:49, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. HumanBeing240 (talk) 13:38, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
