Trump and Heads of state list

[edit]

Trump is not currently a head of state and should not be listed as such. He was previously and will be again, but he isn't when this event is occurring. 331dot (talk) 19:06, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, resolved. 331dot (talk) 19:11, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:LASTING, the reopening itself does not seem to have that much notable impact that isn't well-covered by the Cathedral's article. Some of the additional information contained in this article that may be excessive in the Notre-Dame de Paris page could be moved to the Notre-Dame fire page. Pluma (talk) 21:10, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wait until this article is no longer linked from the Main Page. JJPMaster (she/they) 22:35, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, Wait, per above Boocooe (talk) 16:54, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose; references show a large number of unique sources on specifically the re-opening that do not also primarily cover the original fire. 62.6.174.29 (talk) 11:36, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, Wait, readers will likely be interested currently in reading just about the re-opening. —FPTI (talk) 02:16, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose They are two seperate events. As one person said (somewhere else online) this is a rare sign of peace in our world. The events are completely different, though related (almost four years apart). A mention could be made, but I think seperate articles are important. Matschreiner23 (talk) 16:06, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wait per above. BattleshipMan (talk) 04:04, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wait per above. - Sebbog13 (talk) 04:26, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Article shouldn't be merged to diffrenciate. If merged, it will be harder for users to look at the article. 🗽Freedoxm🗽 (talk) 04:43, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wait per above, then merge, absolutely. Bobby Cohn (talk) 23:21, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wait per above. Andre Farfan (talk) 00:07, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose, the reopening is notable in itself and deserves it own article. Also would prevent making the other article too long. Regards, DPdH (talk) 13:51, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose Perhaps rename the page as Reopening ceremony of Notre-Dame? It was a notable gathering of world / religious leaders. Cantab12 (talk) 14:02, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose I second, it includes dates of these events as well as people in attendance, a rare sign of peace among a troubled world. As well they are two seperate events happening four years apart, related, but seperate. Matschreiner23 (talk) 16:01, 9 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Matschreiner23: Please strike one of your votes. EF5 01:19, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wait, then merge per above. EF5 01:19, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
i can't say much but many people who don't know anything about this will be intrested in knowing how the fire broke Anes arcane (talk) 04:11, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - Events are clearly different from each other, and were both years apart. Wheatley2 (speak to me) (watch me) 16:37, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose per above. Maybe if later on coverage completely dies, but if this event is remembered separately (which I think it will), it might make a good FA candidate. Departure– (talk) 18:39, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose: Highly notable topic and pivotal in the history of Notre Dame. AnotherWeatherEditor (talk) 21:45, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Full Guest list

[edit]

We've listed the national leaders, but do we know all the other attendees? Robin S. Taylor (talk) 21:09, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Cardinal Dolan of the Archdiocese of New York was there, as well as several other bishops including those of Eastern Churches. Would this be important enough to add into the guest list? I don't have a full list of bishops, but I'm sure someone does somewhere. Matschreiner23 (talk) 18:51, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
