On My Own Technology (abbreviated as OMOTEC) is an innovation and research lab headquartered in Mumbai, India. It is an EdTech firm.[1] They educate students through a curriculum called STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths.[2]
Students through these programs have won the World Robot Olympiad 2020 and other.[2]
Work and Research Area
[edit]OMOTEC is an EdTech firm that is mentoring students through its innovative STEM programs to find solutions to real-life problems by creating new-age tech and meaningful products.[3] OMOTEC has designed a curriculum to educate students on Cyber Security along with Kamakshi Sharma, world record holder on cybercrime investigations.[1]
Two OMOTEC students won the Microsoft Imagine Cup and their innovative project focused on developing a non-invasive method to screen for skin cancer using artificial intelligence.[4] This lab also uses the open-source data materials of MIT and Google to teach students.[3][5]
