This mill, with its characteristic overshot wheel turbine, was originally located at Boone's Creek, Tennessee (just north of Johnson City). The millhouse was originally built by Coonrod Dove in the late 18th century, and changed hands several times throughout the 19th and 20th centuries before being purchased by Hacker Martin in 1942. It was moved to the museum in 2002.
