Hello there! My name is Xinxin Tang (LinkedIn URL: http://www.linkedin.com/in/xinxin-tang), and welcome to my Wikipedia user page! :)

I embarked on my academic journey in Physics in September 2017 at the University of Washington, Seattle, specializing in ultracold atoms experiments. My work involved using lasers and magnetic fields to trap Ytterbium (Yb) and Lithium (Li) atomic gases in ultra-high vacuum environments, cooling them to nearly absolute zero, and studying quantum physics phenomena through these ultracold atoms.

In August 2023, I earned my PhD in atomic optical physics, culminating years of research and dedication. My work has been published in top journals like Nature Physics and PRX, contributing to the field's understanding of quantum behaviors and interactions.

Post-academia, I transitioned into the industry as an Optical Metrology Engineer, where I focus on:

1. Conducting R&D projects in optical metrology for AR/VR technologies.

2. Engaging in hands-on optical and electrical testing, system setup, and protocol development.

3. Utilizing Python for data analysis and system control.

My broad interests span across math, physics, quantum information science & technology, logic, philosophy, and more. These interests are fueled by my experiences in graduate school, my professional work, and my personal life. I have also been actively editing Wikipedia since November 2018 and value any sincere and constructive suggestions and advice.

I am committed to driving innovation in my current role and am always open to connecting with professionals for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
