– These districts have been upgraded to towns. Therefore we can omit the word "District" or "Town" in order to meet the standard naming Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(geographic_names)#Vietnam Cn5900 (talk) 19:45, 17 September 2019 (UTC) --Relisting.  — Amakuru (talk) 13:43, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support in general. However, with Hồng Lĩnh there is Hồng Lĩnh mountain. Also Kinh Môn River with Kinh Môn. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.149.246.163 (talk) 01:48, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • 67.149.246.163, for the 2 cases you mentioned. I believe that the article about the towns should still be Hồng Lĩnh and Kinh Môn, since that's how we named them in vi.wikipedia. In general cases, mountain/river/lake/island name is not considered geographical locations, so if there's a dispute between any geographical location's name with a mountain/river/lake/island name, then the place name is given to the geographical location without any disambiguation required (unless there are plenty of other towns/municipalities with the same name). For example Michigan and Lake Michigan, Mississippi and Mississippi River,... Of course, no one will write Mississippi to refer to the river, since if they want to do so, they will write Mississippi River; Mississippi itself refers to the state. Thus, the words "mountain", "river", "lake", "island".... going after the name has already differentiate it from the town/city/municipality. Cn5900 (talk) 23:37, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Sa Pa (I haven't looked at the others).
Note. Sa Pa (disambiguation) will become redundant and should be deleted per WP:TWODABS. The secondary topic can be handled by the existing bluelink in the main article. Narky Blert (talk) 10:22, 18 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
