Here's some more info. If you can find use for it in the article, please add it:

  • In 1990, humorist David Grimes advised as Important Safety Tip No. 1 for Halloween: "Do not attempt to stuff more than 40 candy pumpkins or 80 kernels of candy corn into your mouth at once unless your trick-or-treat bag is full and there's no other place to put it."[1]

Fat free? Only because of label loophole.

Out of 14 ingredients listed on the label of the Brach's product, the 4th one is "partially hydrogenated vegetable oil". So, a 38 gram "serving", of which up to 35.5 grams is "carbohydrates", contains anywhere from 0.28g (absolute minimum possibility, calculated from available info on nutrition facts label) to just under 0.5g (where they're allowed to round down to 0) of not just any fat but indeed trans fat. --67.180.106.165 (talk) 21:35, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This "article" is nothing but an ad for a Brach's product.

Seriously? Brach's is mentioned 6 times in the text, which also uses marketing phrases culled from candy sales websites. "Candy corn's first cousin?" COME ON. Related problem is that "Mellow creme" and "mellowcreme" are used repeatedly in summary as words yet are not (mellowcreme is a registered trademark as acknowledged at the end). Gherson2 (talk) 14:11, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That, and two conflicting origins of the term mellowcreme are given, neither of which makes a lick of sense. Who wrote this?

This article states that the candy pumpkin production follows a: "process similar to that for candy corn" and goes on to say the same thing repeatedly. The third external link does not go to the page that it claims to. Other links may be messed up on this article if that one is. This should be checked and fixed by someone who is familiar with the page and more familiar with the Wikipedia formatting. Thank you!
