Removed the copy paste text from the article and shortened the lead in copy to read as encyclopedic and no longer as advertorial. Geejayen (talk) 23:26, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Added 2 citations to article. Will add more citations and rewrite and edit more of the text as I get time. Geejayen (talk) 23:26, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have gone through this page completely and have added proper citations, removed erroneous copy that was either unverifiable or read like an advertisement. I also rewrote the entire article to be more encyclopedic. Geejayen (talk) 17:45, 25 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Biased

This article reads like advertising copy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.14.8.82 (talk) 15:13, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It reads like it might have been copied and pasted from Billy Bob's site.

notability

is this article notable, or should we chuck it?-Samnuva (talk) 01:20, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Billy Bob's texas is located right in the heart of the stockyards district and has been referenced on TV and is a major venue for country music artists. It is also a local landmark for the citizens of Fort Worth and a tourist destination in it's own right.

I vote keep it.

I agree with Jimerb. Many less notable businesses/venues have Wikiarticles. HOWEVER, as noted in the Biased notation above, this article reads as an advertisement. Unless more on the historical and current venue related relevancy is written and sourced, this article should be whittled down to just the facts.Tiktok4321 (talk) 16:08, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
