Jan Mak (born 21 June 1945) is a Dutch professional football manager.

Career

He was caretaker at amateur side HVV Den Haag in 1971.[4]

After managing FC Volendam in his native Netherlands,[5] Mak took charge of Swedish sides Halmstads BK between 1981 and 1984,[6] IS Halmia,[7] IK Brage[8] and IF Elfsborg between 1988 and 1990.[9] He also coached Tampereen Pallo-Veikot from Finland[10] and Nejmeh SC of Lebanon.[11]

He later managed the national team of the Seychelles on three occasions.[12][13]

Notes

  1. ^ The match was a friendly between a "select" team of Nejmeh and Ansar players against Egypt; FIFA considered it an official match between Lebanon and Egypt. Ansar's manager Adnan Al Sharqi and Nejmeh's manager Jan Mak coached the "select" team.[3]
