Oksana Andreyevna Voevodina (Template:Lang-ru; born 10 July 1992 in Astrakhan[1]), also known as Rihana Oxana Gorbatenko (Рихана Оксана Горбатенко) and Xenia Diaghileva or Ksenia Dyagileva (Ксения Дягилева), is a Russian model and 2015 Miss Moscow beauty pageant winner.[2] She also had a screen name, Nikol on a television programme before.
Biography
Her father, Andrei Ivanovich Gorbatenko,is an orthopedic surgeon from Rostov-on-Don.[3] Her mother Lyudmila Voevodina, a concert pianist, was also a beauty contestant in the early 1990s following the collapse of the Soviet Union. She attended Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow.[4] As a beauty pageant contestant, Voevodina won the Miss Moscow title in 2015.[5]
Personal life
On 22 November 2018, Voevodina married Sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan, who is also the 15th Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia while he was in Barvikha, Russia. They also already had a traditional Malay wedding in Malaysia on 7 June 2018 prior to the Russian wedding. She had converted to Islam that same year, in April 2018 and changed her name to Rihana Oxana Gorbatenko.[6] While the purported wedding was widely reported and discussed on social media, as of January 2019 no official statement has been released to confirm or deny the matter.[4] In an unprecedented move, Muhammad V became the first King to step down from the throne, effective 6 January 2019 while his term should have ended on 12 December 2021.[7] Media reported the birth of their son Tengku Ismail Leon Petra bin Tengku Muhammad V Faris Petra on 21 May 2019.[8][9] On 22 June 2019, Muhammad V divorced her in Singapore by a "talak tiga" or talaq baayin that is the irrevocable divorce and most severe divorce in Islam.[10] After Voevodina had posted photos of their life together on her Instagram account, the Kelantan palace finally issued official statement on 6 September 2019 rebuking the whole matter as untrue by condemning postings of the monarch's private life on social media as inappropriate and defamatory. The sultan had also expressed 'regret' regarding his personal choices of his private life that has caused the peoples' confusion, without mentioning any names.[11]
