I have university degrees in philosophy and religious studies, and my primary interests are East Asian religions and European esotericism and new religious movements. I think that Wikipedia is a wonderful project, which, however, has some weaknesses: It tends to entropy, as it is mistaken by many non-scrupulous contributors as a repository of anything one may find in the Internet.

Between 2016 and 2018 I also gave significant contributions under the aliases Eckhardt Etheling and Wddan, and made very few edits as Arcane Square and Amorphophallus Titanum. All these accounts are now discontinued and blocked.

I do not edit or otherwise contribute to any Wikimedia article or project on behalf of any employer, client, or affiliated person, organization, or other entity; nor do I receive or solicit any compensation for any edits or other contributions.
