Visceral Bleeding (V.B) is a death metal band from Sweden.
The band was formed sometime in the late nineties by Peter Persson and Niklas Dewerud. Influenced by bands such as Suffocation and Monstrosity they performed what they thought the death metal scene was lacking.
Visceral Bleeding are one of a handful of Brutal Death Metal bands hailing from Sweden. This style of Deathmetal incorporates very fast razor sharp palm muted staccato runs through their riffs, as well as hammering out an intricate machine code of blast-beat oriented Death Metal riffs, although (as is common amongst Brutal Death Metal bands) many elements of thrash and even some hardcore influences are also present.
Other bands like Visceral Bleeding are Spawn of Possession, Avulsed, Psycroptic, Suffocation, Pyaemia, Deeds of Flesh, Gorgasm, Nile, Cryptopsy, Necrophagist and Hypocrisy.
