James Hoffmann is an English businessman, author, barista and internet celebrity. He first came to prominence after winning the World Barista Championship in 2007. Afterwards, he went on to co-found Square Mile Coffee Roasters in 2008, a London-based specialty coffee company,[1] and publish The World Atlas of Coffee (2014),[2] which has been translated into several languages. Since 2018 he has gained notability as an online influencer, with his youtube channel garnering over 250,000 subscribers. He primarily discusses the specialty coffee industry, reviews new coffee makers and evaluates different brewing methods.
