I'm a Hungarian software guy living in the U.S..

My main interest is 20th century history, especially wars.

I'm more active in the Hungarian Wikipedia.

"Nyenyec" means Nenets in Hungarian, I picked the name in high-school, because I thought it sounded funny.

Larry Sanger on Wikipedia

Larry Sanger's thoughts on Wikipedia. [1]:

“The subject of an encyclopedia is received knowledge,” Sanger says, not absolute knowledge. The former, he says, consists of “the sort of claims one can make in the form ‘It is generally known that....’ It could be false, but it could still be ‘generally known,’ in the sense that people thought it was true.”
[...]
But there’s a second complaint against Wikipedia that bothers Sanger more deeply—the fractiousness among Wikipedians themselves. Sanger says participants often become embroiled in “revert wars” in which overprotective authors undo the changes others try to make to their articles. He says he’s afraid that this kind of behavior drives away academics and other experts whose contributions would otherwise raise Wikipedia’s quality.

Antifinnugor RFC

Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Antifinnugor

Since during the discussion I've been accused with using "KGB style" methods in the Hungarian Wikipedia by Antifinnugor for collecting his quotes I translated my quote collection from Hungarian: /Antifinnugor. I'll remove this when the RFC is closed.
