Rupert Frazer
Rupert Frazer (born 1947) is a British actor.[1]
His work in theatre includes performances at Citizens Theatre, Royal Court Theatre and Royal National Theatre.[2] Roles include King Lear and Tamburlaine.[3][4]
In Steven Spielberg's Empire of the Sun (1987) he plays the father of the protagonist Jim (Christian Bale).[5][6]
Other roles include Algernon Moncrieff (Algy) in a 1986 tv-version of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest,[7] Lord Alexander Montford in The House of Eliott,[8] Dale in The Girl in a Swing (1988),[9][10] and Neville Chamberlain in Downton Abbey.[11]
