Rutgers University vandalism

Please stop vandalising the Rutgers University page, and in particular the section regarding the cited lyrics of the alma mater. Any further efforts will be reported as vandalism and you may be banned from editing as a result. —ExplorerCDT 08:34, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rutger's alma mater

Please cease changing the alma mater such that it differs from the cited reference. That's dishonest and not in accordance with Wikipedia's policies regarding verifiablity and cited sources. If the information is outdate or incorrect, please find another source and cite it. Continuing to engage in a revert war without even trying to participate in discussion is nonproductive and noncollegial. --ElKevbo 21:53, 18 August 2006 (UTC)--[reply]

Please do not vote after the action has been taken

Chicago has already been moved. It's inappropriate to vote there now. Thanks. --Serge 23:55, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making changes to this article against the prevailing consensus and major reference sources. --Centauri 02:38, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When is the last time you were actually in Key West? The stuff you keep writing about it is just nonsense. FairHair 17:48, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, as someone who was born and raised in Key West and lived there most of my life, I can honestly say the people (natives) there feel quite strongly about it and want very little (if anything at all) to do with the USA. Mainly because they are largely ignored when it comes to uncle Sam's wallet. Marc Averette 00:46, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So, you agree the Conch Republic is not just the "micronation" of somebody's website.
I would say it's best to refer to it in the past tense. They surrendered after a minute. It was a micronation for one minute. Would it be better to start the article off with "Conch Republic was a micronation? This would be more technically correct. After all, the people who live and work there pay federal income tax as well as Florida State sales tax. If was currently a true micronation, they wouldn't have to pay taxes to the federal government or to Florida.

I agree. That's a good way to put it. FairHair 01:07, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I strongly urge you not to continue vandalising the Conch Republic article. Changing the wording to say that the Conch Republic no longer exists - a claim that is not supported in a single third part reference source, and one which is belied by a mountain of evidence - constitites an instance of deliberate content falsification. --Centauri 04:13, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you continue to vandalise the Conch Republic article you will be reported. --Centauri 03:39, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I just noticed your edit summary. I don't know what game you're playing, but the version you reverted to isn't supported by any reference sources. If you have sources that support your position please list them and discuss on the talk page - otherwise you risk being blocked for vandalism. --Gene_poole 02:03, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3 revert rule

I don't know if you know this, but Wikipedia has a three revert rule, which prohibits editors from making more than 3 reverts in 24 hours. You have broken this at Conch Republic. Do not do it again, or you may be blocked. Please do not just revert to a preferred version, discuss on the talk page.--Cúchullain t/c 03:47, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule on Conch Republic. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

The duration of the block is 24 hours. Jonathunder 03:50, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New vote

There's a new vote on the naming of 1 Ceres on its talk page.

I voted. Thanks for letting me know. FairHair 22:32, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We're being accused of being the same person.

How nice. Another certifiable net moron encounter. Talk:Conch_Republic

Good Job...

Now at least one sock puppet is down. Perhaps we can get GeorgeWilliamHerbert taken off as well? I'm sure he'll slip sooner or later - lol. - Marc Averette 19:09, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Karkonosze/Giant Mountains/Krkonoše

Just in case you're interested, there's a new Karkonosze → Giant Mountains or Krkonoše vote here. Cheers! +Hexagon1 (t) 07:08, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gene Poole's user page

Do not add the {{SockpuppetProven}} template to User:Gene Poole. The Gene Poole account has not been blocked— Matt Crypto 18:42, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He was proven to be a sock puppet. If he isn't blocked yet, he should be, because he he keeps vandalizing my user page. As long as he keeps vandalizing me, I'll keep adding that note.
