The Woolsey Fire is an active wildfire in the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties of the U.S. state of California. The fire ignited on November 8, 2018, and burned over 70,000 acres (280 km2) of land.[2] The fire has also destroyed at least 150 buildings,[3] including Caitlyn Jenner's house,[4] Paramount Ranch,[5] and the mansion where The Bachelor is filmed.[6]

The Santa Ana winds, which often are a factor for southern California fires, pushed the fire in a southerly direction throughout the first day.[2]
