A tag has been placed on GlobalGirl Media, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Comment on article

Hi, I've just been looking at your article GlobalGirl Media myself. I'm afraid it's not appropriate for Wikipedia as it stands.

  • It doesn't justify that the organisation is notable by Wikipedia's standards - by citing articles written about it in neutral outlets, especially media of a nationalwide or international reputation.
  • It copies the organisation's "about us" text, which we can't use as it's copyrighted advertising copy.

My advice right now is ditch the text you have and write a new one, keeping it strictly factual and non-promotional. Focus on information that has been published in neutral media about this organisation. My advice would be to write your article using the article wizard, writing it as a draft before submitting it to review, to avoid publishing your article before it's ready.

Also, if you work for the organisation in any way, you must disclose it by filing a "conflict of interest disclosure" such as by putting a statement on your talk page (that's a link to a guide) - if you don't do this you and your employer could be in violation of and liable under section 4 of the Wikimedia terms of service.

Please just let me know if you have any thoughts or questions. Blythwood (talk) 21:38, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Grace Frick for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Grace Frick is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Grace Frick until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Deli nk (talk) 17:34, 20 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (Worldism) has been reviewed!

Thanks for creating Worldism, Mgmaliska!

Wikipedia editor Animalparty just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Unless this theory has been extensively covered and developed by other writers (and not just in reviews of Ling's work) it might be better to discuss the theory on the author's article, or an article on the book itself. You must demonstrate the theory passes WP:GNG, for a stand-alone article, and even then, merging may be appropriate.
