April 2016

Hello, I'm Non-dropframe. I noticed that you made a change to an article, SpongeBob SquarePants (season 9), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Non-Dropframe talk 22:57, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Finding Dory does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! RunnyAmiga (talk) 21:41, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Betty Logan. Your recent edit to the page List of highest-grossing openings for films appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Betty Logan (talk) 18:01, 15 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you.

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The full report is at the edit warring noticeboard. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:41, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Apologize and unblock reason

Request reason:

I was upset when no one updated the page. I was trying to help and I forgot to provide cites and sources to it. I promise to respect that, What I did was inappropriate and I swear I promise I will never do it again.

Decline reason:

Given your responses here, which I have read despite them being blanked, I believe that you should really take a break from Wikipedia until you are able to edit in a more mature and civil fashion. Unblocking you now would likely result in more disruption.Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 19:23, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

EdJohnston, are you listening to me? I really really mean it! What I did was wrong and I promise I will never do it again.

I am declining to lift your block, but another admin is welcome to consider it. You should restore the explanation I left which was supposed to be helpful to other reviewing admins. If you don't use this page for good faith unblock requests I can disable your access to it. EdJohnston (talk) 16:42, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Since you removed Ponyo's decline of your unblock request, I'm disabling your talk page. Use WP:UTRS if you would like further review of your block. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 22:53, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Zootopia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Given your history, I would hope you would know better than to reinsert unsourced material and revert other edits without providing an edit summary. DonIago (talk) 04:42, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't add information without providing sources, and please don't add information that is of limited interest. This is a general encyclopedia, not a compendium of film grosses, and listing the order in which films reached $1 billion is outside the scope of Wikipedia. Thanks. Trivialist (talk) 02:33, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It's been here for a while and people need to know the order of films that reach $1 billion. It's been around here for a while so you should be the one not to undo those edits.

If "people need to know the order of films that reach $1 billion," they can consult a site like Box Office Mojo, but I think you're assuming that everyone will be as interested in such details as you are.

Also, regarding your comment on this edit, trivia is generally not useful; that's what makes it trivia. And you still haven't provided any sources for your information. Trivialist (talk) 02:39, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Well the main part of the ranking of highest-grossing films don't have sources I looked at most of them. So therefore this information is good.

Huh? Trivialist (talk) 02:47, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I noticed that right as you stopped editing, User:2600:100D:B107:BD0A:4009:A16B:1DF:1327 picked up where you left off. You should know that abusing multiple accounts is against Wikipedia rules. Trivialist (talk) 03:01, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm done having this argument.
