Hirsute Claim
"Because Ainu tend to be somewhat hirsute, at least in comparison to other East Asian populations, many Ainu stories maintain that their first ancestor was a bear." The bear is upheld as the most important creature in Ainu culture in many respects. The fact that this is due to Ainu hirsutism is dubious. Bears could be upheld because of their natural virility or another reason. Please find a source for this causality claim. (170.65.128.6 (talk) 19:37, 13 January 2017 (UTC))
