Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Antrim House, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Antrim and William Turnbull (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

March 2016

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Universal service may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • . The language of "universal service" has also been used in proposals by the US [[Democratic Party (United States|Democratic Party]] for the reform of health care.

Edit-a-thon in Wellington, May 29

Hi there. I'm organising an edit-a-thon at Te Papa on Sunday May 29th, focussed on adding NZ flora and fauna species to Wikipedia. It would be good to have some more experienced editors along to help any complete beginners, and I wonder if you might be interested in attending. If so, feel free to add yourself to the Wikipedia:Meetup/Wellington/2016_Edit-a-thon. It would be great to have a good turnout and show Te Papa there's an active local editing community. I'd like to second that: it was great to have your help with the new editors, and I hope we see you at another Wellington event again. Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 01:00, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Ambrosia10: @Giantflightlessbirds: thanks for your message and for organising the edit-a-thon. It was a great event and really nice to meet some fellow editors. Apologies I couldn't stay for much of the afternoon, and yes I will hopefully see you at another event sometime soon! Ballofstring (talk) 03:03, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

I'm about to start some social-justice related editing, and I'm finding quite a few usable images on commons that you've uploaded.

Hi @Stuartyeates: thanks for the kitten! I'm glad some of the photos I've uploaded are useful. Which ones are you using? :-) Ballofstring (talk) 00:43, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I have some work on Tertiary Education Union and some social justice orgs on the drawing boards. Stuartyeates (talk) 08:19, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
