The Wipp Valley (Template:Lang-it [ˈalta ˌvalliˈzarko]; Template:Lang-de) is a district (Template:Lang-it, Template:Lang-de) in the northern part of the Italian province of South Tyrol. It comprises the upper part of the valley of the Eisack river, from the Brenner Pass in the north to Franzensfeste in the south, and is part of the larger geographically defined Wipptal.

Overview

According to the 2001 census, 85.31% of the population of the valley speak German, 14.32% Italian and 0.37% Ladin as mother language.[1]
