Idak is a village in North Waziristan, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. Idak is situated between Bromi Khel and Zangal Khel, and nearby to Mullah Said Ahmad Kili. Landmarks in the Idak area include Idak Post. And lies close to the border with Afghanistan.[1] The residents of Idak are Dawar tribals. Some well known nation in Idak are Tarotti, Khatta khel, Mali khel, Mama khel etc.

History

In 1910, Haji Mirzali Khan[2] founded Idak, which is located in North Waziristan. In June 2014, when operation Zarb e Azb was started all the peoples of North Waziristan were displaced from their own villages and come out to the various cities of khyber Pakhtunkhwa. And the Idak villagers were lives in their village because they are better cooperated with Pak Army. At the end of Zarb e Azb firstly the Idak residents are return to their village for the better cooperation with Pak Army.
