Sakhi Thomas is an Indian costume designer working predominately in the Malayalam movie industry. Sakhi has designed costumes for notable Indian movie celebrities like Mohanlal, Prakash Raj, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Manisha Koirala, Nayanthara, Sreenivasan, Sameera Reddy to name a few.

Career

Sakhi completed her graduation in commerce from Mahatma Gandhi College and went on to do a degree in fashion from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Delhi. Post-education, she worked in the garment industry in Mumbai specialising in knits, ethnic wear and demins. Sakhi's interest in costume designing led her to pick up a job with Amirta TV, designing the costumes of participants who appeared on reality shows. Her work was noticed by Shyamaprasad, who signed her as costume designer for his upcoming movie Kerala Cafe, which proved to be a grand opening into the Malayalam movie industry.
