Miss Kazakhstan (Template:Lang-kk) is a beauty contest that chooses women to represent the Central Asian country of Kazakhstan at the Miss Universe and Miss World.

History

Miss Kazakhstan pageant was founded in 1997 by Agency San Bell, and the pageant has now become a major annual event in the cultural life of the country. The competition is traditionally held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan.

Titleholders

The winner of Miss Kazakhstan represents her country at Miss Universe or Miss World. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify (due to age) for either contest, a runner-up is sent.
