Khalije Fars is a destroyer class, also known as a training ship before. The vessel is the first real destroyer of Iran by Iran regarding the size and armament.[5]

Many experts believe that it is termed as training vessels to cover the real goal of the vessel. This vessel has a size five times as much as Jamran, which means it is at least 5500 tons and 7000-7500 tons full. A model who appeared in the November show Asr Radar above the destroyer.[6]
