Gordon R. Denlinger is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 99th District and was elected in a special election in 2003. Denlinger is a member of the House Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Appropriations, Finance and Tourism Committees.

Denlinger also serves as the Republican Chair of the Subcommittee on Fiscal Policy for the House Appropriations Committee, Vice-Chair of the Finance Committee, and Co-Chair of the Jobs Creation Working Group under the Republican Policy Committee.

In addition to his legislative committee assignments, Representative Denlinger currently serves as founding chairman of the Values Action Team, a coalition of like-minded legislators working to advance traditional family values in Pennsylvania's State Capitol.

Personal

Denlinger graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina in 1985 with a degree in Accounting. He was first elected to represent the 99th legislative district in a special election on March 18, 2003 to fill the remainder of Leroy Zimmerman's term.[1]

A Certified Public Accountant, Denlinger had been Controller for Sharp Shopper, Inc., a grocery discounter based in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, prior to taking office. From 1990 until 2002, he was Assistant Controller for Newell Rubbermaid’s Graco Children’s Products Division. Graco, based at the time in Elverson, PA, is the world’s largest producer of baby furniture.

Gordon Denlinger and his family are members of Zeltenreich Reformed Church in New Holland, where he has served as an elder. He and his wife reside in Narvon, Pennsylvania and have four children: Evan, Abram Preston, Blake, and Mariah.[2]
