Evan Thomas Peters (born January 20, 1987) is an American film and television actor, best known for his roles on the FX television anthology series American Horror Story.
Life and career
Peters was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Julie and Phil Peters, a vice president of administration for the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.Cite error: A <ref>

On his second audition, Peters was chosen by producer Michael Picchiottino for the role of Adam in Clipping Adam. The role earned him a Screen Actors Guild Emerging Actor award at the St. Louis International Film Festival, Jury Award-Best Actor at theEclipse Film Festival, Best Young Actor at the Down Under International Film Festival, and Best Breakthrough Performance at the Phoenix Film Festival.
Initially, Peters mostly performed in TV commercial spots, including Sony PlayStation, Progressive Insurance, Moviefone, Sour Patch Kids, Papa John's Pizza, and Kellogg. Peters continued to land promising rolls in MGM's Sleepover, Disney Channel's Phil of the Future and a starring role in the ABC series The Days. Peters also landed a role in the ensemble cast of ABC's sci-fi thriller series Invasion. He had supporting roles in films such as Gardens of the Night, An American Crime, Kick-Ass, Never Back Down and its sequel The Beatdown, and guest starring roles on The Mentalist, House, Monk, The Office, In Plain Sight, and Parenthood. He has also starred in several theater plays, including playing Fagin in a production of Oliver Twist at the Met Theater.
Peters' breakthrough role was that of the teenage sociopath murderer Tate Langdon in the hit FX series American Horror Story's first season, entitled Murder House. He also starred in the second season, Asylum, as Kit Walker, a man who was wrongly accused of killing his wife. He stars as frat boy Kyle in Season 3 of American Horror Story, titled Coven.
Peters will next be seen as Quicksilver in 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past.[2]
Personal life
Peters is dating Emma Roberts. In July 2013, Roberts was arrested for domestic violence against Peters. She was released hours later, as Peters decided not to press charges.[3][4]
